Registered Office versus Trading Address

Registered Office versus Trading Address

If you are considering incorporating a company in Ireland and you were wondering what the differences between a registered office versus trading address then read on.

Firstly you should consider putting both The registered office address and trading address on your incorporation documents from the beginning. The best advice is that they should have different addresses and be based in Ireland. The registered office address must be based in Ireland and cannot be abroad. It also cannot be a PO Box. The trading address can be abroad but it is recommended that it be in Ireland and separate to the registered office address.

We have two addresses to facilitate clients. We have our main office on the new Mallow Road in Cork Ireland and also another office space on the old Mallow Road in Cork. The VO Connect is owned by Irish formations and operates desk rental facilities and boardroom rental facilities to clients not only in the Cork area but also for clients of Irish formations around the world. Most of the clients who incorporate companies with us will take a registered office address on our main office and then use a trading address – our new facility which is about 2 miles away from our main office.

It is important to note that these two addresses will be stated on the incorporation papers at the point of incorporation. This shows to anybody doing due diligence on the company that the trading address is in place from the start.

We operate a number of services from VO Connect. Desk rental per 10 day lot,  Trading addresses, Lease Contracts, and Boardroom rental. Clients from around Munster and from around the world are already using the facility for these services and for Phone Answering services.  If you have any questions or want to make an enquiry feel free to call us on +353(0)21 2066300.
